Ok, I'm trying something here. I created link of my first guitar I finished earlier in the year. See if this works. If it does, then I will record something on my latest guitar. It won't let me add a hyper link.

Thanks guys. I'm a little computer challenged, my wife says impatient, so I am happy to make this work. That was my Mahagony OM I built first, scalloped bracing and downgraded spruce top from LMI. I can't wait until I get my second one recorded. I would love to hear more sound bites and know what tone wood is used, how it is braced, species of the bridge plate, etc. I think I (we)could get our own ideas of certain tendencies of building practices and technics. That and I love to listen the acoustic guitar. Clinton

Nice! It sounds just like a good guitar--pretty cool, huh? Nice playin', too!

It may just be me as a newbie, but i thought CRICH's idea about sound bytes was excellent!

Wouldn't it be nice to have a thread of just people playing their guitar (All the same song??! Or maybe a standard one and then one of their choice...?)
Then maybe there could be a standard form to fill out that lists the specifics of dimensions, wood types, nut and saddle material, bracing design... etc.

No replies allowed, just a thread of soundbytes and data.

I know there's a myriad or parameters that will affect the soundbyte but it seems that it might help people out with this very elusive description of how fossiled ivory sounds mellow vs. bone sounding sharp (or vice versa!). For beyond the community, this forum is about information.

Just my humble opinion.
